A good understanding of flow assurance is essential to the technical viability of any field development, ensuring robust optimized design and optimal operations and production performance.
Production assurance governs the success of the fluid journey from the reservoir to the processing facility and beyond, to the point of sale, and is applicable over the whole field life from the exploration phase through to field abandonment
First, it’s of upmost importance that we assure the pay fluid gets to its destination. Once there is good assurance on such, then we investigate the leaks and fine tune the production system to get optimal production.
On this module, we ensure that the downhole is optimal to ensure that no pressure losses are hindering the potential to unlock those barrels
Then we investigate the topsides and seek out the bottlenecks hindering optimal production. We carry out an assessment of the entire production network and then finally describe a model that mimics the exact behavior of flow. Obviously the model has to be tuned to mimic present behavior. Only then we throw in some parametric studies to investigate the optimal options. For such we use a pack of software from PETEX-IPM, to SLB Avocet IAM, or SLB-PIPESIM/OLGA
Production optimization is essentially “production control” where you minimize, maximize or target production of oil, gas and perhaps water.
Our production optimization specialist’s services provides an integrated approach covering modeling, production data analysis and reservoir simulation to effectively provide solutions for appropriate design, implementation and evaluation of re-completions, artificial lift requirements and well stimulation benefits.
We provide effective guide and recommendations for the identification of “high potential” well candidates, optimization of well completions and re-completions design, Implementation of production optimization strategies and management of field execution for workover, intervention and re-completions operations.
